By accessing or using DailyExtract ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
2. Description of Service
DailyExtract is a Slack application that reads messages from your authorized channels and generates AI-powered daily digest emails summarizing decisions, action items, and key dates from your workspace conversations.
3. Account Registration
To use DailyExtract, you must install our Slack app and authorize access to your workspace. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Slack workspace and any actions taken through your account.
4. Subscription and Payment
- Free Trial: New users receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features
- Pricing: After the trial, the service costs $8/month per workspace
- Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your billing period
- Refunds: We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Use the Service to process sensitive personal data (health, financial, etc.) without appropriate safeguards
- Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
6. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using DailyExtract, you consent to the collection and processing of your Slack messages as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by DailyExtract and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your Slack messages and data.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the AI-generated summaries will be 100% accurate or complete. You should verify important information directly in Slack.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DailyExtract shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.
10. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may terminate by uninstalling the Slack app and canceling your subscription.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
